Steps to link your Incard account with Shopify

Updated over 4 months ago

Follow these steps to link your Incard local account details to Shopify Payments for collecting payouts:

  1. Log In to Shopify:

    • Access your Shopify admin panel by logging in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to Payments Settings:

    • Go to "Settings" in the bottom left corner of the admin panel.

    • Select "Payments" from the settings menu.

  3. Manage Payment Providers:

    • In the Shopify Payments section, click on "Manage" to access your payment settings.

  4. Add Bank Account:

    • Scroll down to the "Bank accounts" section.

    • Click "Add bank account."

    • Enter your Incard account details for GBP, USD, or EUR:

      • Account Holder Name: Enter your name or your business name.

      • Account Number: Enter your Incard account number.

      • Sort Code (for GBP) / Routing Number (for USD): Enter the appropriate code for your Incard account if you are entering account details in GBP or USD.

  5. Confirm Details:

    • Double-check the entered details for accuracy.

    • Click "Complete" to save your Incard account details.

If you receive sales funds in a currency other than GBP, USD, or EUR, use your international IBAN to receive these amounts via SWIFT. Alternatively, configure Shopify Payments to receive and aggregate payouts in one of these three currencies.

Please note that due some cases of IBAN discrimination, it is possible that if you have an Incard FR account and your Shopify Payment is set up in the name of your FR company, your Incard Local EUR IBAN will not be accepted. In this case you need to contact Shopify support and ask them to accept your GB IBAN to collect your EUR payouts.

Once linked, your payouts from Shopify Payments will be deposited into your Incard account in the respective currency (GBP, USD, or EUR). For more detailed information, refer to Shopify’s official support documentation.
