Steps to link your Incard account with Stripe

Follow these steps to link your Incard local account details to Stripe for collecting payouts:

  1. Log In to Stripe:

    • Access your Stripe dashboard by logging in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to Bank Accounts:

    • Go to the "Settings" menu.

    • Select "Business" then go to "Bank accounts and currencies" tab.

  3. Add Bank Account:

    • Click the "Add bank account" button.

    • Enter your Incard account details for GBP, USD, or EUR:

      • Account Holder Name: Enter your name or your business name.

      • Account Number: Enter your Incard account number or IBAN.

      • Sort Code (for GBP) / Routing Number (for USD): Enter the appropriate code for your Incard account if you are entering account details in GBP or USD.

  4. Confirm Details:

    • Double-check the entered details for accuracy.

    • Click "Add bank account" to save your Incard account details.

If you generate sales in a currency other than GBP, USD, or EUR, use your international IBAN to receive these amounts via SWIFT. Alternatively, configure Stripe to receive and aggregate payouts in one of these three currencies.

Once linked, your payouts from Stripe will be deposited into your Incard account in the respective currency (GBP, USD, or EUR). For more detailed information, refer to Stripe’s official support documentation.

I am having trouble linking my GBP account details on Stripe.

If you encounter this issue, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact Incard Support: Request your account ID and alternative account details, specifying that you need them to link your Stripe GBP account.

  2. Log in to your Stripe account.

  3. Navigate to the Support section:

    • Look for the help icon, usually found in the upper right corner of your dashboard, and click on "Support Articles."

  4. Click "Contact support":

    • Locate the support link on the right side of your window and click on it.

  5. Select the relevant issue:

    • Choose the category that best fits your concern, such as "Add bank account for payout" for issues related to bank account deposits.

  6. Initiate a chat with Stripe Support:

    • Specify your request for a custom payout descriptor by saying, "I would like to get a custom statement descriptor on my payouts to route them correctly to my bank account." Then provide the account ID given by Incard support.

  7. Confirm the update with the support agent:

    • Wait for their confirmation that the statement descriptor has been updated as requested.
