The balance displayed in the top of your Home page is the "Authorised Balance". This balance takes into account all transactions, whether they are "Completed" or "Pending", so you are always aware of the funds available.
For accounting purposes, bank statements only include "Completed" transactions and do not include "Pending" transactions.
